12. Write things down throughout your pregnancy. This can be questions for your doctor, feelings you are having about being a parent, stories about the firsts (when you first found out, first felt baby, first heard the heartbeat).
One of the most important things you can do when you’re pregnant is pay attention to what you eat. Dr. Sherry Ross, OBGYN, told me that it’s especially important to avoid raw or undercooked foods. "Food poisoning can occur when eating raw vegetables, unpasteurized juices, and undercooked meat, poultry, or eggs that can be linked with salmonella and Escherichia coli bacteria," she said.
You probably know the things you’re supposed to do during pregnancy: take your prenatal vitamins, drink plenty of water, eat well, exercise, rest, try to lower stress, yadda yadda. But what these exhaustive lists of should’s distinctly lack are things that are FUN.
