The ‘Erotica’ period was full of the real Madonna, the Madonna that had always been THE sex icon. ‘Erotica’ received positive reviews from critics, and fans praised the album’s creativity, some even calling it Madonna’s best at the time.

3rd greatest album EROTICA did not suffer in sales, by the way. It went on to go 3x platinum. It also featured 5 hit singles. MADONNA is not my favorite singer, but I have all of her 90’s albums because she reinvents herself all the time.
