Emo is a term that can be used in a few different ways. 1st- Emo can be short for emotional. 2nd- This word can describe a style of music, usually punk/rock style, with very emotional lyrics.
Emo or emofag or emowhore was a movement from the 2000’s which was an attempt to make normal teenage angst cool (a competition to win a pretension on this "my life sucks more than yours" contest).While everyone around them is also suffering from hormones and High college, they try to convince everyone that their suffering is somehow original.
Emo teens like to hang out with other emo teens and emo mans. They are usually sad most of the time, do not smile very often, and just like emo mans, show no signs of self worth or self confidence whatsoever and will not make eye contact with you.
